About HR Network
HR Network is a non profit-making support group for HR Professionals and will provide a platform for them to meet periodically:
HR Network aims to
· hold regular workshops and events focused on HR issues which you believe are important to you and other
HR professionals;
· give you the opportunity to meet with other HR professionals and share experiences;
· provide a forum which counts as a development opportunity and that may be added to your CPD portfolio;
· provide an opportunity for you to meet HR and Employment Law specialists;
· occasionally form working parties to enable you to consider inputs to consultations launched by the DTI with regard to workforce issues.
Why this organisation has been formed?
· in the fast changing world of Employment Law, the HR Professionals role has become more complex, riskier and far more pressurised than ever before.
· a mistake by an HR Professional can cost the organisation dearly in terms of claims or the loss of valuable members of staff.
· it is therefore in all our interests that we follow best practice in the workplace and that we get the most from our staff.
